WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (16-0) will be back in action in August or September, according to his Vadim Kornilov. The 28-year-old will be making his 6th title defence but his future opponent is yet to be confirmed.
The location of Bivol’s next fight is to be announced, as the Russian champ is a free agent in terms of platforms, so he can fight anywhere in the world.
The Russian last fight was in March. He defeated the American Joe Smith Jr. via UD. Some time ago, his fellow countryman Sergey Kovalev vowed to face Bivol, but “The Krusher” was ordered by WBO to face Anthony Yarde.
