Gokhan Saki reveals elbow surgery, one more to go

UFC light heavyweight Gokhan Saki has been missing from the combat sports world in the last two years.

The last time fight fans witnessed Saki in action was in 2018 when he lost to Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 226. Many people wondered what is going on with the Turkish fighter and why he isn’t competing. However, Saki himself revealed that he needs surgeries on his two elbows and the first one was a success.

The former K-1 and GLORY kickboxer will have to go through a long rehabilitation process, but if his elbows are alright after the surgeries there’s a big chance we’ll see him again inside the Octagon or the ring.
