Haney vs Gamboa set for Saturday after fighters make weight

Devin Haney and Yuriorkis Gamboa are 100 percent set for tomorrow night’s DAZN (Saturday, Nov. 7, 8 pm ET) main event from Florida, as both fighters made weight ahead of the bout.

The 21-year-old Haney (24-0, 15 KO) will defend his WBC lightweight title, and weighed in at the limit of 135 pounds, as did the 38-year-old challenger Gamboa (30-3, 18 KO), who is a huge betting underdog, and all four of our staff pickers are taking Haney.

The show will also feature a pair of 10-round heavyweight bouts, with Filip Hrgovic (11-0, 9 KO) taking on Rydell Booker (26-3, 13 KO), and Zhang Zhilei (21-0, 16 KO) facing Devin Vargas (22-6, 9 KO), plus returns for prospects Reshat Mati, Raymond Ford, Arthur Biyarslanov, and Darren Cunningham, all in six-round bouts.

Bad Left Hook will have live coverage tomorrow night at 8 pm ET.
