IBJJF releases dates for American Nationals in Dallas, TX

The IBJJF is trying to get as many major events as possible to happen before the end of the year, and the latest competition to be reannounced for 2020 is American Nationals.

The organization has announced that the tournament will run from December 4-6, with the 4th serving as an “extra” day designed to accommodate more competitors is there’s not enough time to run all the matches on the 5th and 6th. Both the gi and no-gi events will take place over that weekend at the same location in Dallas, Texas.

Like virtually every IBJJF event that has been scheduled since COVID-19 began to spread, American Nationals were indefinitely postponed earlier this year. The news of their return to the IBJJF calendar comes on the heels of the announcement that Worlds and World Masters would also be taking place between now and the end of the year.
