A lot of fun and dedication was written all over the faces of the participants in the second karate kyokushin training on the fifth day of the 15th annual KWU International Summer Camp.
The karatekas were separated into nine groups according to their rank and age.
Bulgaria’s Shihan Ivo Kamenov attended the training session and paid attention to all participants. He is the executive director of the KWU International Professional League and Chairman of the National combat sports association in Bulgaria (NABS).
The groups were lead by Russia’s multiple karate kyokushin champion Sergey Uvitski, Shihan Alexandr Pichkunov – KWU General Secretary and main referee of SENSHI fight nights,who both of them are representing Russia’s Perm kyokushin school, Shihan Antonio (9. dan), President of KWF, Shihan Asen Asenov and Shihan Ramil Gabbasov,and Shihan Andre Drewniak 9.dan KWF General Secretary.
Shihan Kamenov was highly involved in the session, giving valuable tips and lessons to the fighters around him. He pointed out the importance of the good guard and the proper kyokushin stance.
The session was heavy from a technical point of view, with a lot of complex drills and exercises.
The culmination of the Summer Camp is the ninth edition of the professional fight nights SENSHI! The fights start this Saturday at 20:00.
The 15th annual KWU International Summer Camp is being organized by the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation and the Kyokushin World Union. During the camp, the ninth edition of the elite fight nights SENSHI will be held.
Senshi 9 will be broadcasted on Bulgaria ON AIR, MAX Sport, Boec.BG and the US online channels FITE, Boec.COM, Kwunion.com, Kyokushin Karate News and Fightо.News.
