Jet Li inspired the 15th World Wushu Championships

World Wushu Championships took place in the Chinese metropolis of Shanghai, on October 15. The largest sports forum in the world of Wushu has set a record for number of participating countries – 102.

The Championships of the planet had a great spectators interest during all four competition days. The Wushu fans enjoyed the best performances in Changquan, Nanquan, Sanda and Tai Chi. The organizers did an unprecedented 3D show during the opening ceremony of the Championships.

A special guest of the event was the Ambassador of the International Wushu Federation Jet Li.

The world-famous movie star delivered an inspiring speech that ignited the overcrowded sports hall.

The day before the opening of the competition was held the 15th International Wushu Federation Congress, which was attended by delegates from Bulgaria, represented by the President of the Bulgarian Wushu Federation Stefan Kolev and the Vice President Petar Dragoev.
