One of the better British heavyweights – Joe Joyce (8-0-0) had just struck a deal with Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren. From now on, the Olympic silver medalist and current Commonwealth (British Empire) Heavyweight title holder will fight under the Queensberry Promotions’ flag.

The 33-year-old is the mandatory challenger for the EBU European heavyweight title. He’ll be debuting on his new platform on the undercard of Billy Joe Saunders’ clash with Shefat Isufi on May 18, but his opponent is yet to be announced.

Joyce’s last fight was against the American Bermane Stiverne on February 23 when the “Juggernaut” TKO’d the former world champ in the sixth round.
