UFC welterweight Josh Emmet has suffered a complete ACL tear on his knee in his most recent outing against Shane Burgos at UFC Fight Night 177 this past weekend.
Emmett looked impressive against Burgos, as the two fighters participated in what could very easily be the Fight of the Year.
Unfortunately, the American got injured just 20 seconds into the fight when his knee buckled and he later admitted there’s a chance his ACL is pretty much gone.
It turns out that wasn’t the only injury he picked up at UFC Vegas 3’s co-main event.
Most people would of quit or looked for a way out! I will NEVER QUIT!

Emmett’s manager Jennifer Goldstein told MMA Fighting that should Josh elect for surgery, he could be sidelined for nine months, although it’s possible he won’t need to go that route.
