Keenan Cornelius out of F2W 149, replacement found

Fight 2 Win 149 will have a new main event following the withdraw of one of the fighters that had to participate in it.

Keenan Cornelius was supposed to compete against Gabriel Almeida has had to pull out of the match due to injury.

The American grappler is having problems in his back and he won’t be able to participate in the match, although eight of his students will take part in the event, representing his academy Legion Jiu-Jitsu.

The 28-year-old Cornelius will be replaced by another black belt – Manuel Ribamar. Ribamar is coming off a victory at F2W 147 where he defeated Jonatha Alves, claiming the black belt middleweight Gi title in the process.

The contest between Ribamar and Almeida will be their fourth one so far, with Manuel taking the W in all three of their bouts before.
