Khabib’s father says his son would rematch Conor on one condition

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (28-0) made an interesting statement regarding a potential rematch between his son and former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor.

Khabib had stated on numerous occasions that the Irish doesn’t deserve a rematch because he’s not as active as he once was. The two fought last October at UFC 229 when the Russian submitted Conor in the 4th round.

But now it seems there’s a slim chance of a second fight between the pair, according to Nurmagomedov Sr. Khabib’s dad said earlier this week that a rematch would only take place in Moscow.

“If McGregor wants it, then Moscow is waiting for him,” Abdulmanap told YouTube channel Zhivina100.

“He said once that he has more fans here than Khabib. We want to host him in Moscow, he is welcome – we are waiting.”
