Lomachenko: My goal is to unify the division

WBA “Super” and WBO lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (12-1-0) has once again made his intentions clear – to get all the 4 major titles in the lightweight category. This Friday night the Ukrainian will face the Brit Anthony Crolla (34-6-3) in Los Angeles.

“Hi-Tech” is not looking past the 32-year-old Brit, though. The former WBA champ is one of the top guys in the division and Loma voiced his respect for the “Million Dollar”.

“He has very big experience, he has a very good defence,” Lomachenko told Sky Sports. “For me, I just need to show my best style and ‘Style Loma’, that’s it.

“For me, I always focus very seriously for all my opponents, so he’s very dangerous, so I’m focusing.”

If the 31-year-old southpaw manages to get the W, his next fight will be against the IBF king Richard Commey (28-2-0).

“I want to unify all titles,” said Lomachenko. “Maybe the next fight will be with Richard Commey. That will be his IBF, he’s IBF world champion,” Loma said.
