Having in mind the financial troubles of GLORY in the past several months, its wise move for all of the three parties. Grigorian is one of the most entertaining fighters and ONE FC can only gain from his signing. Meanwhile, GLORY is reducing its stable because of financial instability.
Grigorian holds a phenomenal 63-11-1 (1 NC) professional record, with 36 of his career victories coming by way of knockout.
Now, he joins ONE Super Series’ extremely stacked featherweight kickboxing division, which includes the likes of Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan, Davit Kiria, Jonay Risco, John Wayne “The Gunslinger” Parr, and “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.
That weight class also includes the aforementioned Sitthichai and Superbon, as well as the division’s top-ranked contender, ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan.
A date for Grigorian’s promotional debut has not been confirmed, but fans could see the 29-year-old superstar make his first appearance on the global stage later in 2020.
