Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. PPV receives $49.99 price tag

The September 12th pay-per-view exhibition between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. has a price tag. The Athletic reports that the show will run you $49.99 and be available “through cable, satellite and Triller.”

A we-can’t-stress-this-enough exhibition tussle between two legends in their 50s isn’t all you’ll receive, though. As Scott reported in the article above, the event will feature “multiple fights and ‘iconic musical performances;’” we’ll keep you all appraised as those come together.

What may decide this event’s fate is Canelo Alvarez’s upcoming battle with TBA, which was expected to take place that same evening. Despite having the September 12th date locked for months, the Mexican superstar still doesn’t have an opponent, and he’s now down to just six weeks. Callum Smith is reportedly the frontrunner, but there hasn’t been much promising news on that front.

As far as the price, it’s at least well below what’s unfortunately become the American standard of $74.99. They’re still going to need a serious supporting cast.
