The newly crowned GLORY light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira will fight Artem Vakhitov one more time.
That’s what GLORY chairman, Pierre Andurand, said after the first fight that took place this past weekend.
“Poatan” made history at GLORY 77. The Brazilian defeated Russia’s Vakhitov via SD and became the first-ever GLORY fighter who’s number one in two divisions – middleweight and light heavyweight.
A lot of fans weren’t happy with the judges’ decision and they believe Artem got robbed. The 29-year-old Russian posted a video on his Instagram after the fight in which Andurand promises a rematch to him.
