Of course, a fight night like this one can have only one main event – UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker (20-4) vs. Interim middleweight king Israel Adesanya (17-0) for the undisputed title of the division. Both fighters will be on home turf and that could be one of the biggest sporting events in the history of Australia.
Very impressed with Western Sydney Stadium, atmosphere unreal. Helps when the home teams puts up 50. #NRLEelsTigers pic.twitter.com/B0kNWT6zvq

An eventual bout between the two will mark Whittaker’s first title defense since he captured the belt in 2017. Since then he had to defend it a few times, but the 28-years-old pulled off from the fights because of health issues.
Adesanya, meanwhile, is unbeaten at the pro level. “The Last Stylebender” claimed the Interim belt at UFC 236 when he edged Kelvin Gastelum.
