Romania’ Stefan Latescu delivers crazy KO win in his SENSHI debut

Stefan Latescu from Romania claimed his first ever SENSHI win in his debut at the international fight night. Latescu defeated Canada’s Olivie Langlois-Ross in the fourth fight of SENSHI 12 via KO in the final round.

The fight took place under the KWU Full Contact rules in the +95 kg category with the four-time K-1 heavyweight champion Semmy Schilt being the special guest referee.

The Romanian fighter was off to a great start, landing some hard hooks and kicks to the body and the head of his adversary. Ross’ head absorbed a heavy hook to the temple in the middle of the opening round, but he managed to return the favor with a beautiful inside low kick. In the final seconds ofthe first part, Stefan landed three straight jabs to the head of Ross, taking the first round in his pocket.

The Canadian fighter tried to get back in the battle in the beginning of the second round, but his attacks were well defended by Latescu. Olivie landed some elbows that opened a cut on Stefan’s face in the very end of the round.

The final three minutes started with a nice sweep of Latescu. Ross was aggressive, but his guard was nowhere to be found when a massive left hook from nowhere landed perfectly on his chin and he got dropped in a matter of seconds. Semmy Schilt immediately waved off the fight due to the fact that Ross was in no shape to continue the bout.
