Rory McDonald has left Bellator

Former Bellator’s welterweight champion Rory McDonald (21-6-1) is no longer part of Bellator MMA’s roster. Yesterday the Canadian signed a deal with PFL – Professional Fighters League.

McDonald will be entering the Grand Prix welterweight tournament in the upcoming 2020, chasing the $1 million prize award. Rory is concluding his Bellator journey with 3 victories, two losses, and 1 draw. Prior to that, he was part of UFC where he had a 9-4 record.

His last fight was in October when he lost his championship belt to Douglas Lima.
