Ryan Garcia was on the set of Mike Tyson’s Hot Boxin’ podcast, talking big shit after his most recent win and calling out Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis for a lightweight showdown. It just so happens that Tank called Tyson on FaceTime during the show, and Garcia let him have it.
“Two rounds, baby, two rounds” Garcia emphasized to Tank, not backing down from his early knockout prediction. “Two rounds, you going to sleep. It’s not gonna hurt. I promise you it’s not gonna hurt.
“You gonna need a ladder to hit me. How tall are you? You 5’5”, you gonna need a ladder to hit me. You gonna need a StairMaster. Boy, you won’t be able to touch. You ain’t never fought a 135er in your life. This different. I don’t care what you say. You ain’t got nothing!
“You too ugly to be champ! And that’s from Muhammad Ali. Boy, I’m pretty! You ain’t never seen nothing like me. I promise you, you gonna go down!”
After Garcia passed the phone back to Tyson, Tank brought up the fact that Garcia got dropped by Luke Campbell who isn’t even known for his power. Ryan shrugged that off and Tyson asked if they can just settle it in the ring, to which Tank responded.
“We fighting next! We fighting next!” Tank said.
That got Garcia even more pumped.
“He said it! The world knows, he said it, next fight! There’s no going back now,” said Garcia.
“Hey, look at me, I’m dancing! I’m dancing bachata on you!”
Wow. I never thought I would say this but I think I might be warming up to Ryan.
