Samo Petje is the challenger this weekend in the European SENSHI title fight against the champion Atanas Bozhilov. The Bulgarian is one of the best he has ever faced in his career but the Slovenian feels ready to surprise us. He said for Boec that he is ready to go deep in that fight.
“If we finish early it will be good for me but I am ready to go and extra round or even two extra round if it must“, shared Petje.
He usually fights at 70 kg. but now he goes up in pursue of the European belt.
“I usually fight at 70 kg. but it is not an issue when I go up. I even had a fight at 77 kg. I don’t have problems with bigger guys. It think that I have a good strategy for the fight and we will see“, added Samo.
He does not look at his opponent as an enemy. He sees him as a friend because they meet verry often on previous events and share allot of time together on camps.
Samo Petje will be fighting Atanas Bozhilov in the co-main event at SENSHI 22. The international fight gala will be held on July 6th at 6:30 PM local time. The venue is on the beach in front of restaurant More in Saints Konstantin and Helena resort near Varna, Bulgaria.
