Schedule: KWU Summer Camp and KWU World Cup 2019

Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation and Kyokushin World Union have published the schedule for KWU Summer Camp and KWU World Cup 2019:

2. Targets
International summer camp will be held in accordance with the international calendar of
Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation for 2019 with purpose:
• strengthening the friendship between members of international organizations of KWU;
• increasing the level of mastery of participants (they must be at age over 14 years old and prize winners of international and national tournaments)
• improving the qualification of coaches;
• examinations for new style qualifications;

International summer camp will be held from 30.06.2019 to 07.07.2019
June 30 – arrival of the teams
July 1 – seminar of the judges
July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – training days
July 2 – KWU World cup for juniors (14-15 years old), juniors (16-17 years old) and Cadets (18-21 years old)
July 6 – examination for kyu/dan
July 7 – departure of the teams
Venue of the International Summer training camp: Kamchia, 34 km to the South of Varna

Judges seminar: 01.07.2019 10.00h – 12.00 h and 14.00 h – 17.00h

CATEGORIES

1. Boys (14-15 years old, kumite): 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 65+

2. Girls (14-15 years old, kumite): 45, 50, 55, 60, 60+

3. Boys (16-17 years old, kumite): 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 75+

4. Girls (16-17 years old, kumite): 50, 55, 60, 65, 65+

5. Cadets- men 18 – 21 years old: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 85+

6. Cadets – women 18 – 21 years old: 50, 55, 60, 65, 65+

* The organizers retain the right to merge weight categories or change their limits, taking into account the number of participants in categories.

Financial conditions: The entry fee from the participants of the competition is not charged.

KWU covers the following charges: accommodation, meals, transfer (Varna-Kamchia-Varna)

Applications for participation: Deadline for applications: up to June 1st, 2019

Registration for submitting applications is available online on the website kwu.kumitetechnology.com/registration together with the application for participation in the XIII KWU International Summer Camp.

General rules: The competitions will be held by the rules of KWU, which are posted on the official website: www.kwunion.com

Judges: The official list of judges will be approved by KWU at the end of the judicial seminar, which will be held on July 1st 2019 in Kamchia. Those wishing to attend the seminar must apply for e-mail kwu_bulgaria@abv.bg with the indication “judging seminar” in the subject line. 

Chief referee of the tournament – Ramil Gabbasov, 5th dan, Russia

Deputy Chief referee of the tournament – Stoyan Dimov, 4th dan, Bulgaria

Anti-doping control: Winners from 1st to 3rd places will go through doping test in accordance with the rules of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The quota for WKO Shinkyokushinkai
The competitors from WKO Shinkyokushinkai, who wish to participate in the KWU “World Cup” for juniors (14-15), juniors (16-17) and cadets (18-21) should contact their Branch Chiefs, who would inform about this request the WKO Shinkyokushinkai Headquarters.

Accommodation:

At the airport of arrival you will be met by representatives of KWU. Transfer to the hotel will be organized.
