Last night in hall ‘Universiada’ in Sofia was held ‘Spartacus Fighting Championship’ 7: Avatars’.
The annual event included fights by the rules of MMA and K-1.
In the main event (93 kg) Kalyoan Kolev (8-0) defeated Kamen Georgiev (25-11-1) via decision. The bout went on by the rules of MMA and the winner took home the SFC title.
Kaloyan and Kamen both did a great job inside the cage. They were moving, cutting angles, throwing good combos and they did not fear to go on the ground. In the end, Kolev was the man with a raised hand, because his wrestling skills exhausted Georgiev and he managed to control the distance and the jab power till the end.
One of the most attractive fights (84 kg) of the night was the K-1 clash between Aleksandur Petrov (BUL) and Mike Sprangh (NED). The co-main event was also 5 rounds and it was a pretty equipollent match, but Petrov managed to land the bigger shots and won the title.
