Shihan Alexandr Pichkunov meets with Shihan Kendji Midori in Belgium

A very productive meeting marked the first-ever European Full contact Karate Championship that was held this past weekend in Antwerp, Belgium.

The secretary-general of KWU – Shihan Alexandr Pichkunov had a meeting with WKO and WFKO President Shihan Kenji Midori, Shihan Yasukasu Koi, and EKO President Koen Scharrenberg.

The Kyokushin legends discussed future projects and the future of Kyokushin karate while the first-ever edition of European Full contact Karate Championship was taking place.

The tournament was a selection event for “The 1st World Full contact Karate Championship”, which will be held in Osaka (Japan) on May 30-31, 2020.
