Marsellos posted on his Instagram that an “autopsy” (his word, not mine) of Deontay revealed that he had a dent in skull, caused from being struck by a blunt object during his rematch with Tyson Fury, which supposedly couldn’t have been caused by a gloved fist.
“You know it’s crazy when you great they got to do everything that’s underneath real to figure out how to stop you,” Wilder posted on Instagram. “The most wicked shit about is people on your own team will do anything for the hate/money to help them opps take you down. It was discovered by doctors that my brother has a dent in the side of his head (due) to a blunt object struck against his head from his last fight. No glove or fist was able to cause the damage according to the autopsy.”
Fury clearly caught wind of the allegation and responded with the following:
“This is just a quick video to address all this foul play talk from Deontay Wilder and his team. I just read an article before saying that I had some blunt objects in my gloves — yeah, two big 19-stone, 275lb destroyers in each glove. So, yeah, getting punched on the temple may (dent your head).
“(The allegations aren’t true), not unless Deontay Wilder’s own trainer Jay Deas was in on the conspiracy, along with all the Las Vegas state commissions guys who never left the room. Jay Deas was in the room when I had me hands wrapped, he examined them. He was in there when I had me gloves put on, examined them. And everybody else was in the room, they don’t leave you, we all know this. So eveybody, citing foul play — bullshit! And the next time I’ll put a dent in his boxing career and end it because it’ll be two knockout losses in a row. Bye bye forever.”
