Yesterday all the 24 fighters that are set to take part in the upcoming UFC Fight Night 169 in Norfolk, US, hit the scales.
The main event of the night between Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo will still go on as planned, but only one fighter can be crowned as the new flyweight champion since the Brazilian couldn’t make the division limit.
Figueiredo forfeits 30 percent of his purse to Benavidez. Another fighter who was off the limit was featherweight Grant Dawson who will also forfeit 30 percent of his purse to opponent Darrick Minner.
