Vladimir ‘The Pitbull’ Valev is just a few hours away from his comeback into the professional kickboxing ring for his testimony match at SENSHI 21. The Boec team reached him out in his last moments before the big gala by the Black sea coast so that we can find out his last thoughts before the international fight gala in Varna, Bulgaria at the Kongresna hall.
“We will make it fun“, he said answering the question about his expectations for the fight.
But he also admits that the years outside the ring for sure are taking their tool and that’s why he worked out two different game plans with his team so that they can answer the challenge that Carlos Garcia represents.
“I would like to stretch it out tactically a little at the beginning so that I can relax and then I’ll give him the opportunity to get what he wants – a fight from close and middle range where I also have my best game. I will give him the chance to fight in that distance. At first I will move around and try to check him a few times if it’s possible and after that we have the plan B as they say“, The Pitbull added.
His family has his back for this whole process. Only for a short while his wife had some concerns but later she backed him up 100% and accepted the fact that he is getting back in the center of the action.
Vladimir Valev hopes that the long absence from the ring didn’t make him rusty and he also hopes that all the excitement wouldn’t burn him out. That is why he needs that first round to settle in and feel the ring under his feet once again. After that we will see the true great champion who made Bulgarians proud in the past couple of decades.
