It was particularly hard to find an opponent for Ahmed Krnjic at the SENSHI 21 gala because four different fighters pulled out in the course of preparation for this event. But at the end we have maybe the best challenger in this group in the face of Brian Douwes. He has victories against opponents of the likes of Rico Verhoeven and Jamal Ben Saddik in the past.
“My latest opponent comes from the Netherlands and he has allot of experience. He has victories against Rico Verhoeven and Jamal Ben Saddik – two of the best heavyweights in the world. He has allot of experience and has his opportunities but he is very old now – 36 year of age. I believe that my time is now and he wouldn’t have a change against me“, the Bosnian said in a special interview for Boec.
He is confident that he won’t have any problems in adapting to Douves’s style because he never goes to long holidays and is constantly working in the gym. The reason is exactly the fact that dynamic changes do happen in kickboxing.
Krnjic is going for the knockout no matter if it is in the first, second or third round of the fight.
