Yoel Romero is becoming a tv star

One of the best middleweights in UFC – Yoel Romero (13-3) is clearly not waisting his time.

The former Olympic gold medalist announced that he’ll be competing in the new season of the extreme reality show “Exatlon” on “Telemundo”.

The Cuban will participate in the show with 19 more people, some of which former wolrd and Olympic champioons. The participants will be divided into 4 teams, copmiled with 5 man and 5 women, but they’ll have to get through the trials all by themselves.

The former number one contentder had to withdraw from his fight with Paulo Costa at UFC 230, beacuse of the acquired injuries from his last bout against Robert Whittaker. After medical checkout, his license was suspended for the last seven months, but the “Soldier of God” should be back early February.
