2020 World Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships moved to 2021

The 2020 World Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships that were supposed to take place from September 19-27 have been postponed for September next year.

The major Armwrestling events will still take place at the same location – Batumi, Georgia. Official dates are yet to be announced.

The 2019 World Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships were held in Constanta, Romania.

We hope our news finds you well and healthy.

We are sorry to inform you that the 2020 World Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships have been cancelled and moved to 2021 same location and period. Batumi, Georgia, September 2021.

Over the past months WAF Executive Board have explored all the options to postpone the championships later this year. The uncertain situation created by this virus, travel restrictions and now the official letters from the Georgian Government and from the Georgian Armwrestling Federation, made WAF Executive Board to take the difficult decision to cancel the worlds this year.

We hope you will all keep training and we look forward to the next armwrestling championships.
