42 countries registred for the 70th anniversary of Strandja Memorial Tournament

350 competitors from 42 countries will take part in the 70th anniversary of the oldest boxing tournament in Europe – the “Strandja Memorial Cup”.

The duels begin on 14th of February and the finals are scheduled for 19th. The Official Opening Ceremony is set for 5.30 pm this Thursday.

Bulgaria will be represented by 32 participants.

This year the event will be held in the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia.

The following 43 nations are taking part in the event: Albania, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Somalia, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United States of America, Uzbekistan and Wales.
