Kim Alina-Ross impresses in her debut fight at SENSHI 12

Australia’s Kim Alina-Ross defeated Chiara Giusti from Italy in the second fight of SENSHI 12 fight night. The bout was conducted under the KWU Full Contact rules in the 65 kg category, with both ladies making their SENSHI debut.

The pair exchanged kicks in the first seconds of the fight, making an appeal for a tough fight ahead. The K-1 legend Sam Greco was in Alina-Ross corner, as she landed a good combination a minute into the opening and then initiates a clinch. The Australian was fighting on the outside and it was paying dividends, while the Italian fighter was struggling to find her range and was landing mostly single body shots.

Giusti’s thighs were getting blue in the first seconds of the second round thanks to the inside low kick of Ross. The kicks exchange theme continued through the second round, with both fighters being cautious of every move their opponent was making.

Giusti kicked off the final round hard and landed some outstanding hooks and punches to the head of Ross. As time went by, the stamina of the Italian girl started to drop down rapidly, but still both fighter continued to move back and forth and to deliver heavy blows.

After the full 9 minutes, the judges scored the fight in favor of Greco’s student Alina-Ross.
