Tyson Fury’s trainer – Ben Davison, took the higher road and responded unfazedly to the criticism he took from the Hall of Famer – Freddie Roach.
Roach was invited to the Fury’s camp two weeks before his big clash with Deontay Wilder. This time, he wasn’t the main man like we were used to seeing him in the past. Roach was appointed as a cutman, but yesterday the legendary coach said that Davison’s tactics weren’t on point and that Fury should have been “more offensive”.
It seems though, that the young brit did not take it personally. His response on twitter was:
The Boxing world making a war zone 😂😂

That response was due to the reaction of the british boxing elite, who is of the opinion that Davison did a sensational job with the fight and Fury.
Wow.
Really disappointing from Freddie.
A great established trainer, publicly running down the young coach who didn’t have a problem with bringing him on board in order to help Tyson can only be a desperate move to pinch his fighter.
You can’t fault the job Ben Davidson did. https://t.co/65cNsn95E5— Dave Coldwell (@davidcoldwell) December 12, 2018
We know he’s pitching for a job and trying to use Ben to give his bid credibility! Cheap. @BenDavison_ instructions already Won the fight! https://t.co/Xa2QVWTxEA
