Jon Jones will take part in UFC 232

Jon Jones is officially back in the game. The ex-light heavyweight champion got his license back. The California state athletic comission reviewed his case this week and decided to renew his professional fighting license.

The fighter, who is considered to be one of the greatest of all times, tested positive for the banned substance turinabol back in july 2017. In february this year CSAC unanimously  decided to ban Jones and fine him with 205 000 USD.

Jones was scheduled to fight Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232. The rematch wasto take place on 29-th of December in Las Vegas, Nevada and Jones lawyers did the best they could to make this happen.

Jones’ licence is provisionally restored. He has to prove he has changed. Besides regular doping tests, “Bones” has to do community service and take part in high-school programmes in Anaheim and Albequerque during the first three months in 2019.
