Adrien Broner gets arrested at Wilder-Fury 2 weigh-in

Former titleholder Adrien Broner is making headlines again, and as usual it’s for his exploits outside of the ring. Broner, who apparently is persona non grata at the MGM Grand Garden, was hauled away by Las Vegas Metro police at the Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury weigh-in.

According to TMZ’s report, Broner was told last November that he was not allowed on the premises but decided to show up for the festivities anyway, and when he was asked to leave he refused. At that point the authorities were called who took Broner away in cuffs where he’s expected to face a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Broner (33-4-1, 24 KOs) hasn’t fought since a unanimous decision loss to Manny Pacquiao over a full year ago. He’s since been talking on social media about making a comeback at 135lbs, but considering all we know about Broner by now, we can probably safely label that a pipe dream.
