If money is good, Maldonado will fight anyone under any rules

Fabio Maldonado doesn’t mind fighting under any kind of rules as long as he will get a good paycheck at the end of the day.

He has been active in both mixed martial arts and boxing since leaving the UFC in 2015 and now is keen on trying the bare knuckle fights, that are gaining more and more popularity. But only if the money in it is good.

“You know what the issue is with these events? They have to pay you well. If they want all this violence, they have to pay you well. It’s easy for you to injure your hand and cut your face open. They want to pay you less money with the argument that it’s a short fight, two-minute rounds. So what? I’ve seen the damage it does,” Maldonado said.
