Kubrat Pulev may face Joshua in September

Bulgaria’s best heavyweight boxer- Kubrat Pulev (26-1-0), might get his chance for the IBF world title this fall. Pulev,37, became #1 mandatory chalenger for Anthony Joshua’s IBF belt last October when he outclassed Hughie Fury in Sofia.

Originally, the fight between the 29-year-old Brit and the Bulgarian was supposed to happen in 2020, but the rematch between WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and the lineal champion Tyson Fury means that they probably won’t face “AJ” in 2019.

The first meeting between Wilder and Fury ended in a controversial draw and the rematch is expected to be announced in a week or two.

Joshua still doesn’t have a confirmed opponent for 13th of April and the two most affiliated boxers for “Wembley” are Dillian Whyte and Jarrell Miller.

Meanwhile, “The Cobra” confirmed for Boec.BG that his next fight will be held in the US this april.
