Sweden names Sally Conway its new head judo coach

One of the finest Britain judokas in recent times Sally Conway has been appointed as the new head coach of Sweden judo.

Scotland’s Conway. 34′ is a Olympic and World bronze medalist, as he also own a silver medal from an European judo championships.

Conway retired earlier this year right before the Tokyo Olympic games, even though she was still one of the top dogs in her division. Soon after her retirement announcement, she took a coaching apprenticeship with Judo Scotland and now she’ll be the one in charge of Sweden’s judo.

Conway is replacing Robert Eriksson who was a long-time appreciated head coach, with Viktor Carlsson being her assist coach.
