The stars of SENSHI 10 rocked the open workouts

The fighters in the tenth edition of SENSHI took part in the evening training session of the first day of the ongoing KWU International Professional League camp. The event is taking place in Varna, Bulgaria, at the “Vladislav” hall.

They demonstrated spectacular moves at the paws and attracted the attention of other participants in the camp.

Shihan Ivo Kamenov,  executive director of the International Professional League of the World Kyokushin Union and chairman of the National Martial Arts Association in Bulgaria, gave valuable advice to the elite fighters, but paid attention to all of the participants, too. He stopped next to all sparring pairs, giving his recommendations and techniques to improve their level.

“After an attacking technique, immediately put your hands close to your body, do not relax even for a second. Do not throw them left and right, but keep them strong as it was before the attack,” advised the group Shihan Kamenov.

He was very pleased with the appearance of Shihan David Pickthall (VII Dan), who is the President of the International Karate Federation (IFK), who wore a kimono and took part in the evening training.

The Briton got involved in a fun game, as a number of instructors jumped on him in sparring, but he managed to beat them with a huge smile on his face and unique techniques.

“Martial arts provide an opportunity for education that is not found elsewhere. Even in the poorest regions, through martial arts in the gym, people integrate into society and get out of difficult situations,” said Shihan Ivo Kamenov.

All competitors gladly accepted his advice, both Bulgarians and foreigners.

The Secretary General of the World Kyokushin Union Alexander Pichkunov showed excellent techniques along with the other karatekas and congratulated some of the participants for their dedicated work. Special guest instructors Peter Aerts, Semmy Schilt, Ernesto Hoost and Albert Kraus continued their work by gradually complicating the exercises of the morning and afternoon sessions.

The camp will continue until December 5 (Sunday).

It is part of the unique “3-in-1” event in Varna, where martial arts fans will be able to enjoy the KWU European Kyokushin Championship for men and women (Sunday) and the long-awaited combat show SENSHI 10.
