UFC Brasilia bonuses: Charles Oliveira gets $50k bump

Seven straight finishes, six bonuses.

UFC lightweight Charles Oliveira is once again taking home an extra $50,000 for his third-round submission of Kevin Lee at UFC Brasilia, according to bonuses announced by the promotion on Saturday after the event at Ginasio Nilson Nelson. It was Oliveira’s 14th submission overall in the octagon and extended a company record for most wins by tap.

Also getting a bump after the event in Brazil is co-headliner Gilbert Burns, who stopped two-time title challenger in under three minutes with a blistering combination of punches.

“Fight of the Night” honors went to flyweights Maryna Moroz and Mayra Bueno Silva, who went toe-to-toe over three rounds and delivered one of the most action-packed fights on the decision-heavy card. Moroz took home a unanimous decision, earning her fifth UFC win.
