All but one fighter made weight for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 186. The official weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
In the main event, Jairzinho Rozenstruik (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) takes on Ciryl Gane (7-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) in a key heavyweight contenders fight. Rozenstruik was the last fighter to step on the scale and was 254.5 pounds. Gane weighed in not long before him and was 247.
The fight between Ramazan Kuramagomedov (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Alex Oliveira (22-9-1 MMA, 11-7 UFC) was canceled after Kuramagomedov became ill. Neither fighter weighed in. And in another fight on the prelims, Maxim Grishin (31-8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) came in heavy for his light heavyweight bout against Dustin Jacoby (13-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC). Grishin will be fined 30 percent of his fight purse.
