Uzbekistan’s Kudratillo Abdukakhorov earns Errol Spence mandatory spot

Kudratillo Abdukakhorov (16-0-0) will have the opportunity of his life – to face the IBF World welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. (25-0-0) as a mandatory challenger.

This past Saturday the Uzbek squared up with Keita Obara (20-4-1) in a world title eliminator, claiming the victory via UD and now the 25-year-old will earn a shot at one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

These news are coming as a bit of shock, because the boxing fans all over the world were expecting a mega-fight between WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao vs. IBF king Errol Spence Jr. to be announced. “The Truth” has a decision to make – to defend his title against an opponent that will bring close to nothing to the table, or to vacate the belt and go straight for “Pac Man” or WBC champion Shawn Porter.
