WKF Worlds starts today in Dubai

The 2021 Karate World Senior Championships start Tuesday as the best Karate athletes in the world meet at a highly anticipated event.

Nearly 1000 athletes from 105 countries are expected to compete to become the new kings and queens of Karate over six days of competition. The tournament beings on Tuesday at 09:00 (local time) and will conclude with the finals on Saturday and Sunday.

Nine of the 12 defending World champions will fight for glory in Dubai. Also, the event will be a celebration of Olympic Karate as seven out of the eight Olympic champions are also registered to clash for the medals.

Held in the magnificent Hamdan Arena, a state-of-the-art sports complex, #KarateDubai2021 is set to highlight all the values of Karate as the WKF is celebrating its 50+1 anniversary. The event will be open to the public with restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
