Bulgarian national kyokushin team arrives in Japan

The Bulgarian national kyokushin team has arrived earlier today in Japan where they will compete at the 2020 KWF Open Karate Tournament “The Karate Grand Prix”.

The event starts on March 1 at the Tokyo-Chiba Port Arena.

Bulgaria’s team will be represented by Dimitar Dimitrov, Berkjan Shen, Kristiyan Stoynov, Nikola Nikolov and Kristiyan Doychev. Sensei Zahari Stoyanov is the head coach leading the group.

The tournament is one of the most prestigious international karate events with teams from all over the world taking part in it.

The official weigh-in will take place on Saturday.
