Valentina Shevchenko defends title against Liz Carmouche in Uruguay

Valentina Shevchenko displayed one-sided fashion, outworking Liz Carmouche in the “UFC on ESPN+ 14” Uruguay main event .

Shevchenko (18-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) achieved her second consecutive UFC women’s flyweight title defence with unanimous decision.

“My strategy was to use all my skills to defend against her. She has very uncommon techniques and style and timing. I did everything to assure my victory inside the cage and not let any surprises happen inside the fight.”
